TIPPECANOE COUNTY LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE FINANCING BOARD April 16, 2019 The Tippecanoe County Local Environmental Response Financing Board met on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of Lafayette City Hall. Present were: Tony Roswarski, Lon Heide, Zach Beasley, John Dennis and Kevin Underwood. Absent: David Byers Tony Benton, Attorney from Stuart & Branigin, was also present. MINUTES Mr. Beasley moved to approve the minutes of the January 29, 2019 meeting as submitted. Mr. Heide seconded. Motion carried. READING AND SIGNING OF CLAIMS The following Claims (all with attached documentation) were presented to the Board for payment:  A claim from Keramida Environmental for consulting services in the amount of $16,745.40. Mr. Beasley moved for approval. Mr. Underwood seconded. Motion carried.  A claim from Keramida Environmental for consulting services in the amount of $18,091.34. Mr. Beasley moved for approval. Mr. Underwood seconded. Motion carried.  A claim from Keramida Environmental for consulting services in the amount of $4,103.76. Mr. Beasley moved for approval. Mr. Underwood seconded. Motion carried.  A claim from Stuart & Branigin for services provided in the amount of $1,140.00. Mr. Beasley moved for approval. Mr. Roswarski seconded. Motion carried.  A claim from Stuart & Branigin for services provided in the amount of $570.00. Mr. Beasley moved for approval. Mr. Roswarski seconded. Motion carried.  A claim from Stuart & Branigin for services provided in the amount of $1,100.00. Mr. Beasley moved for approval. Mr. Roswarski seconded. Motion carried.  A claim from Waste Management for services provided in the amount of $4,430.57. Mr. Underwood moved for approval. Mr. Beasley seconded. Motion carried. REPORTS Keramida Vicki Keramida stated that there is nothing to report and the site is doing well. The appropriate reports have been submitted to EPA and IDEM. Mrs. Keramida introduced Jessica Fliss as the new IDEM Project Manager and with Frank Lagunas as the new EPA Project Manager to the TERF Board. Mrs. Keramida stated that they will continuing moving forward on the de-listing of the landfill site. The Board introduced themselves to the new project managers. Mayor Roswarski welcomed Ms. Fliss and Mr. Lagunas to the meeting. OLD BUSINESS There was none. NEW BUSINESS There was none. PUBLIC COMMENT There was none. ADJOURN With no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Roswarski moved to adjourn. Mr. Underwood seconded. Motion carried. The time being 1:38 p.m. John Dennis T.E.R.F.
