OLD BUSINESS 12. ORDINANCES A. ZONING VARIATIONS ORDINANCE - 21875 N. PEPPER RD. Summary: The Plan Commission/ZBA held a public hearing in consideration for a zoning variation for relief from the required front, side, and rear yard setbacks for a proposed parking lot to serve a proposed Showroom and Warehouse Building. Recommended Action: Motion to approve Ordinance No. 2022-O-___, an Ordinance granting zoning variations to allow setbacks for the parking lot as described in the Ordinance. (roll call vote) B. REINSTATEMENT AT 50% OF BUSINESS AND LIQUOR LICENSE FEES Summary: The Village has over 200 businesses that are annually required to obtain a business license. With the continued significant impact COVID-19 is having on businesses and restaurants, consideration to assist these businesses and liquor license fees by reducing them 50% in the upcoming application cycle, while keeping the application deadline at May 1, 2022. Recommended Action: Motion to approve Ordinance No. 2022-O-___, an Ordinance authorizing a temporary reduction of the business and liquor license fees in the Lake Barrington Village Code. 13. RESOLUTIONS A. ZONING MAP UPDATE Summary: The Village is required to annually publish an updated Official Zoning Map pursuant to the Illinois Municipal Code if changes have been made. Recommended Action: Motion to approve Resolution No. 2022-R-___, a Resolution authorizing the publication of the revised Official 2022 Zoning Map for the Village of Lake Barrington. APPLICATION FOR TEMPORARY USE - SPECIAL EVENTS - 154 ROBERTS ROAD Summary: Compass Lane Farm, LLC, is requesting approval to host a fundraising event for Samaritan Counseling Center on the residential property located at 154 Roberts Rd. on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Recommended Action: Motion to approve the Temporary Use Special Event Permit with the stipulation that the petitioner receives a Village permit for the road construction.
