Councilmembers present: Tracy Furutani, Deputy Mayor; Larry Goldman, Vice Chair; Paula Goode, Matt Muilenburg, Semra Riddle, Josh Rosenau (via Zoom), Ellyn Saunders Councilmembers absent: none Staff present: Tom French, Mayor; Phillip Hill, City Administrator; Lindsey Vaughn, Finance Director; Matt McLean, City Clerk Others present: 1 visitor CALL TO ORDER Mayor French called the May 14, 2026, City Council work session meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. ADOPTION OF AGENDA Deputy Mayor Furutani moved to adopt the agenda as presented. Cmbr. Riddle seconded. The motion to adopt the agenda as presented carried unanimously. COUNCIL DISCUSSION TOPICS Community Outreach and Engagement Deputy Mayor Furutani gave a brief introduction and opened a discussion on community outreach and engagement. Cmbr. Muilenburg, Goode, and Rosenau formed a community outreach and engagement subcommittee to discuss engagement strategies and event scheduling.
