LAKE WALES POLICE OFFICERS’ RETIREMENT SYSTEM SPECIAL PENSION BOARD MEETING MINUTES September 2, 2020 - 11:00 A.M. Pursuant to Executive Orders 20-69 and 20-193, signed by Governor DeSantis, and in accordance with F.S. 120.54(5) (b) 2, notice of use of communications media technology for public participation and availability at this special meeting was hereby provided. Any member of the public wishing to appear at the virtual meeting was directed to use the following log-in: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88062202587 1. Call to Order and Roll Call The meeting was called to order at 11:05 a.m. by the Chairman, Bill Raebig. The following members were present: David Black, Bob Plummer, and TJ McKeon. Carlos Unzueta was excused. The following service providers were also present: Pedro Herrera, Plan Attorney and Susy Pita and Caleb Hynson, Plan Administrators. 2. Transition of Administrative Services Susy Pita and Caleb Hynson discussed their administrative services transition process and answered questions from the Trustees. Following some discussion a motion was made by TJ McKenon to approve of the administrative services transition at the same monthly fee of $1,100 (guaranteed for one year) effective October 1, 2020. Seconded by David Black, the motion carried unanimously. Pedro will prepare the new services agreement. The Trustees welcomed Caleb and thanked Susy for her services for the past 15 years. 3.
