CITY COMMISSION BUDGET DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
CITY HALL COMMISSION CHAMBER
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26,2026 - 6:00 PM
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Resch on the above date at 6:04 PM in the City Commission
Chamber located at City Hall, 7 North Dixie Highway, Lake Worth Beach, Florida.
ROLL CALL: Present were Mayor Betty Resch, Vice Mayor Sarah Malega, Commissioners Mimi
May and Anthony Segrich. Also present were Interim City Manager Jamie Brown and City Clerk
Melissa Ann Coyne. Commissioner Christopher McVoy was absent.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: led by Mayor Betty Resell.
UPDATES / FUTURE ACTION / DIRECTION:
A. Purpose and Overview of the workshop
B. Overview ofFY 2026-2027 Budget Development Process
C. Funding and Revenue Considerations
D. Review of Commission Strategic Priorities
Action: Consensus to use ClearGov to prepare the budget, the commission would receive a pdf of the budget
book as well as the spreadsheets with account numbers
Action: Consensus that roads were a priority with the commission receiving status from staff on the PCI
numbers
ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting adjourned at 8:11 PM.

The City Commission has adopted Rules of Decorum for Public Participation and public comment which are posted
within the City Hall Chambers, online at: https://hub.lakeworthbeachfl.gov/public-comment, and available through the
City Clerk’s office. Compliance with the Rules of Decorum is expected and appreciated.
