MINUTES CITY OF LAKE WORTH BEACH CITY COMMISSION PRE-AGENDA WORKSHOP VIA ZOOM FRIDAY, JULY 2, 2026 – 9:00 AM The meeting was called to order by Mayor Resch on the above date at 9:02 AM via Zoom in Lake Worth Beach. ROLL CALL: Present were Vice Mayor Mimi May and Commissioners Sarah Malega, Christopher McVoy and Anthony Segrich (arrived at 9:05 AM). Also present were Interim Assistant City Manager Teanna McKay, City Attorney Elizabeth Lenihan and Deputy City Clerk Shayla Ellis. Mayor Betty Resch was absent. UPDATES / FUTURE ACTION / DIRECTION: Action: Consensus to move Unfinished Business, Item A and Item B to the July 21, 2026 regular meeting agenda. CONSENSUS AMENDED to update Unfinished Business, Item A to an item extending the current agreement with E.R. Bradley’s through April 2027 and removing Unfinished Business, Item B. Action: Consensus for the staff to arrange a tour for all elected officials through the current construction site at the Gulfstream Hotel. Action: Consensus to have staff provide an update regarding the discussion with FDOT about Lake Ave. & Lucerne Ave. Action: Consensus to have staff request a list of the current improvements that are planned or in progress by the lessors of Benny’s on the Beach location on the pier.
