6. CONSENT AGENDA
(Matters on the Consent Agenda will be considered by a single motion and vote
because they have been approved unanimously by a Board committee or are
considered to be routine. Any member of the Board of Trustees may request that an
item be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.)
A. Warrant dated February 19, 2008. The Finance Committee recommends
approval and the Board of Trustees approves the Warrant dated February 19, 2008
in the amount of $874,828.00 which includes the following items over 5% of the total:
1. IRMA $457,417.00 52.29%
2. Peapod LLC $103,219.00 11.80%
3. Maxim Construction $64,715.11 7.40%
B. 59 Evergreen Street, variation for second story addition. The Planning and
Development Committee recommends approval and the Board of Trustees
approves AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR 59 EVERGREEN
STREET. (Assign ORD. #2008-02-549) (Document included in packet.)

C. Resolution for 2008 street maintenance program. The Public Works Committee
recommends approval and the Board of Trustees approves a Resolution in the
amount of $527,917.00 for the MFT 2008 Street Maintenance Program. (Assign
RES. #2008-02-19A)
D. State Elevator Safety Program approvals. The Planning and Development
Committee recommends approval and the Board of Trustees approves:
1) A Resolution adopting the Illinois Elevator Safety Program and
Agreement (Assign RES. #2008-02-19B)
2) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-2-5 OF THE LAKE ZURICH
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ELEVATOR INSPECTION FEES AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 90-03-374. (Assign ORD. #2008-02-550)

E. 2008 Playground Improvements with waiver of bidding process. The Public
Works Committee recommends approval and the Board of Trustees approves an
agreement with Game Time and Recreational Concepts for new playground
equipment at three parks under Quote No. 43468 in the amount of $141,754.98,
with waiver of the formal bidding process.
F. Traffic Enforcement Agreements for High School and Concord Village. The
Public Safety Committee recommends approval and the Board of Trustees
approves the Regulation of the Parking Area Traffic and Parking Agreement
between the Village of Lake Zurich and District 95 and the Regulation of the
Parking Area Traffic and Parking Agreement between the Village of Lake Zurich
and Concord Village.
G. Agreement with School District for Liaison Officer. The Public Safety Committee
recommends approval and the Board of Trustees approves the School Resource
Officer Agreement between the Village of Lake Zurich and District 95.
H. Memorandum of Understanding for partial special census in 2008. The
Committee of the Whole recommends approval and the Board of Trustees
approves the execution of the Memorandum of Understanding for a partial
special census at an estimated cost of $62,875.
I. Mionske Pond stormwater consultant proposals. The Committee of the Whole
recommends approval and the Board of Trustees approves a hydraulic
investigation study, including an evaluation of dredging, for Mionske Pond in an
amount not to exceed $14,800 to Graef Anhalt Schloemer and Associates.
J. Newsline March, 2008 edition. The Committee of the Whole recommends
approval and the Board of Trustees approves this edition of the Newsline as
presented.

the Board of Trustees.)
