VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH Tree Commission Minutes July 21, 2009 Approved A. Roll Call: Present Shawn Walkington Chairperson, Commissioner Garrison, and Commissioner Harper Absent Commissioner Froehde and Commissioner Kozub Commissioner Harper Made motion to modify tonight’s agenda to include all points under Item D New Business from last month meeting. Commissioner Garrison second all were in favor. B. Approval of Minutes: Minutes from the June 16, 2009 meeting were approved. C. Master Plan- It was moved to table discussion till next months meeting. D. Route 22 Landscaping- The state is getting there bids together for fall planting. At the pre-construction meeting the proposed changes will be discussed. E. Member Appointment- The board has not brought up re-appointment, Commission members are still on the committee until re-appointed or told otherwise. F. New Business- Scott brought up info on mulching trees and putting together brochures/ door hangers to give to residents. Scott also mentioned EAB and that it is now in Palatine as well as Schaumburg. Committee discussed what village should do to prepare for EAB. G. Adjourn- 8 pm
