APPROVED VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH TREE COMMISSION Special Tree Commission Meeting The Barn at Paulus Park April 21, 2011 2:00 PM 1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Scott Garrison at 2 PM 2. ROLL CALL-Present were Chairman Garrison, Members Jim Mihelic, Toni Rey and Village Liaison Shawn Walkington. Absent Mary Kozub and Tony Harper 3 Planning for Arbor Day April 30, 2011- Tree Commission, Park and Rec Chairwoman Thode and Park and Rec employee Bonnie Matheson went over list of volunteers. Volunteers were designated parks to supervise and they will be contacted to let them know what needs to be done. There was a discussion on the time activities would be done at Paulus Park and where the trees are to be planted. Scott Garrison, Shawn Walkington and Mike Perkins will locate areas for trees to be planted. Mulch will be dropped off at Paulus, Manor and Oakridge parks. We will supply shovels and wheelbarrows. 4. ADJOURNMENT – MOTION was made by Commissioner Mihelic, seconded by Chairman Garrison to adjourn the meeting. Voice votes, AYES have it.
