O. Tree Commission Agendas/

APPROVED VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH TREE COMMISSION January 2, 2024 6:30 PM A. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Garrison at 6:30 PM B. ROLL CALL-Present were Mary Kozub, Matt Spiekhout, Kevin Scheiwiller, Scott Garrison and Village Liaison Shawn Walkington. Absent Tony Harper C. PUBLIC COMMENT- None D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Motion made to accept minutes from December 5 by Commissioner Kozub, second by Commissioner Spiekhout were in favor E. COMMISSIONERS REPORTS- Commissioner Kozub talked about District 95 Sustainability Committee. She was asked to be a member and wanted to know if the Commission thought there would be any conflicts. F. Arbor Day- Liaison Walkington said Arbor Day would be on April 27 at Paulus Park. Activities would be planting a tree and handing out seedlings. Commission asked ifthere are any other activities Park and Rec would like them to do. Commissioner Kozub was going to call Marissa Boynton to discuss possible activities. G. POWER LINE TREE TRIMMING- Chairman Garrison put together list of trees that should only be trimmed during dormant season. The list will be put together to add to Ordinance. H. ADJOURNMENT - Motion was made by Commissioner Scheiwiller, seconded by Commissioner Spiekhout to adjourn the meeting. Voice votes, AYES have it. MOTION CARRIED Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
