Borough of Lansdale Public Safety Committee Minutes May 1, 2024 6:30 pm 1 Vine Street Suite 201 Lansdale, PA 19446 Attendees: See attached. The meeting was called to order at 6:31 pm I. Old Business: A. A motion was made to approve the minutes for the April 3, 2024, PSC meeting. B. The chief advised the committee that the traffic study data collection period has been completed and turned over to the engineering firm for analysis. A draft report is expected by fall. II. New Business A. A motion was Made to approve the following Special Events. Memorial Day Parade on May 27, 2024, at 9 am. Lansdale Pride Walk on June 9, 2024, at 12 pm. Monger Fest Party on June 29, 2024, at 4 pm Well Crafted 6th Birthday Party on September 28, 2024, at 4 pm Public Comment: None Vote: 3-0 to approve III. Fairmount FD Report: See attached. IV. Open Public Comment. Peter Claffey from Sycamore Drive wanted to know what traffic calming measures were being considered in the traffic study. The chief related the brough was considering all possibilities. Peter also related that a new fence installed on along Norway Drive was too close to the roadway and obstructing traffic.
