Box C FAX (307) 721-5211 Laramie, Wyoming 82070 TDD (307) 721-5295 MINUTES BOARD OF HEALTH Thursday, April 20, 1995 The meeting was called to order at 515 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Members Present: Rand Lewis o.c. Alice Swett - Council Liaison Becki Berman D.D.S. Stephanie Whitman Dr. Linda Yost Carole Hing AEC: The board was reminded of the upcoming Annual Education Conference April 24 through April 27, 1995. The board was invited to attend any functions. Budget Addendum. It was mentioned by Stephanie that two budget addendum were requested by the Health Department: A summer Intern to inspect pools, weeds, junk and nuisance and Western Equine Encephalitis survey funds. Toad Task Force: The Board was brought up to date on the events of the Toad Task Force meeting. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service as well as the Environmental Protection Agency has agreed that this will be the last year for searches. The Toad Task Force intends to disband September '1, 1995. Mosquito Update: It was mentioned that the Mosquito Program is up and running with three employees. The use of time release and other larvaciding products are already in use this season. Rules and Regulations: Several changes were made to the draft Rules and Regulations for the Board of Health. Changes will be made and reviewed by the City Attorney. If the Board accepts the Rules and Regulations, positions of officers will be voted on at the next board meeting. The next meeting is set for June 8, 1995 in City Hall at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was adjourned at 6:07 p.m. "lmproving Our Quality Of Life" 0
