Requests from person with disabilities must be made to the Community Development Department 48 hours in advance of the meeting. 1. CALLTOORDER/ROLLCALL Meeting convened at 6:35 PM. Members Present: David Milam Vice-Chairman (arrived at 6:32 PM) Jean Allais Health Officer Beth Young Members Absent: Becki Burman Sandy Novick There was a quorum present at all times. Staff Present: Mary Murrieta Environmental Health Specialist Kathy Wickersham Administrative Assistant City Council Liaison: Lee Kempert (present) Introductions were given. 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MINuTES 2-A. AGENDA: No Changes 2-B. MINUTES: Thursday, Februaiy 17, 2011, Laramie Board of Health Minutes MOTION BY YOUNG, second by Allais to approve the Agenda for April 21, 2011 and the BOH Minutes from Thursday, February 17, 2011. Aye:3 Nay: 0 Motion carried. 3. NEW BUSINESS No items 4. OLD BUSINESS 4-A. ReviewofMonthlylnspections-FebruarylO,2011-Marchl6,2011 and March 17, 2011- April 19, 2011 Murrieta informed the Board that she inspects 260 establishments to include: restaurants, bars, pools, spas, schools, and body art parlors. Murrieta explained some of the processes involved in conducting a health inspection and what consults a critical and non-critical violation. Laramie Board of Health April 21, 2014 Page 1 of 3  Mrs. Murrieta informed the Board that when she inspected the New Great Wall the past two times, they appeared to have good establishment practices and cleanliness. However, when she re-inspected on April 21, 2011, many inspection items were below standard. A follow-up inspection will be done in 10-14 days and the findings will come before the Board in May. 4-B. Sushi Boat Risk Control Plan The Health Inspector implemented the Risk Control Plan and reviewed the CHS Compliance Model with the establishment owner. A Risk Control Plan is a living document and includes the FDA standards. All items of concern were reviewed with the Sushi Boat owner. The establishment has been placed on a 3 month inspection rotation. Murrieta stated there were no language barriers with the Sushi Boat owner. 4-C. Body Art Rules and Regulations Review It was suggested that the Board review the Rules and Regulations in sections. MOTION BY MILAM, second by Allais to review the Body Art Rules and Regulations sections 1-6 (pages 1-10) and be ready to discuss at the next meeting. Aye: 3 Nay: 0 Motion carried. Murrieta has reviewed the Body Art Rules and Regulations from Natrona County and the State. Once the Board has reviewed and updated the rules and regulations, they may consider having local Body Artists review them and provide feedback to the Board. This would occur before the rules and regulations are given to the City Council. 5. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS 5-A. Discuss Summer Meeting Schedule/Member's Availabilitya for Meetings At the May 1 9" meeting discuss and plan whether the meetings in June, July and August need to be planned on a month by month basis. 6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS 6-A. Discuss Changing Meeting Dates/Time The Board agreed that the 3'd Thursday of each month at 6:15 PM was still the best day and time for the Board of Health meetings. 7.
