Meeting convened at 6:25 PM.

Murrieta answered questions posed by the Board on different establishments.
Kempert asked why the inspection results were not published on the City's webpage. The
Board informed him that they had discussed this exact topic many times and For now feel that
not publishing the results is the right thing to do. Kempert was also informed by Murrieta that
anyone at anytime could request information regarding a particular establishment's inspection
results, by filling out a Record Request and paying any associated Fees.
Murrieta stated that most establishments take a pro-active approach to the health
inspections. She has a good working relationship with most establishment owners
4-B. New Great Wall
The Health Inspector recently inspected the New Great Wall and all previous issues had
been resolved since the last inspection. Murrieta stated there were no language barriers with
the New Great Wall owner.
4-C. Body Art Rules and Regulations Review (section 1-6, located on pages 1-10)
Changes to be made, are listed by page and section.

Other items discussed regarding Body Art Rules and Regulations:

* Novick wants the following information to be incorporated into the R&R:
No potted plants in the tattoo or piercing work area.
* Board suggested that staff research to see if NEHA has rules and regulations
regarding Body Art.
@ Change all wording regarding "autoclave" to: Operate according to publishers
recommendations Tor the equipment you are using.
Board agreed to reviewthe BodyArt Rules and Regulations sections 7-12 (pages 10-17) and
be ready to discuss at the July meeting.
4-D. FDA Standards - Review
Mario Seminara, Rocky Mountain Region Retail Food Safety Specialist had contacted
Murrieta to let her know his schedule would allow him to meet with the Board in June or July.
Due to the Board's busy schedules, it was decided to not meet with Mario until the fall.
The Board requested that Mario be contacted and inquire if he would send enough FDA
Standard books to provide one to each Board member.
4-E. Discuss summer Meeting Schedule/Member's Availability for Meetings
The meeting For June will be cancelled.
Board members reviewed their summer schedules and it appears at this time, that we will
have a quorum for the July and August meetings.
