1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Meeting convened at 6:15 PM
Members present: Jean Allais, David Milam, Beth Young (Chair)
Members absent: None
There was a quorum present at all times.

2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MINUTES
2-A. AGENDA: Changes and Approval of Agenda for September 19, 2013 meeting.
MOTION BY MILAM, second by Allais, to approve the Agenda, as written.

MOTION BY ALLIAS, second by Milam, to approve the May 16, 2013 Minutes, as written.

The Board reviewed and discussed the establishments on the four monthly inspection reports.

4-B. Farmer’s Market
The Farmer’s Markets will end for the season. The Farmer’s Market at Undine Park will end on
Thursday, September 26th and Downtown’s will end on Friday, September 27th.
4-C. Tattoo Regulations
Two tattoo establishments illegally tattooed minors. Both Body Artist were cited and fined in
Laramie Municipal Court.
MOTION BY ALLAIS, second by Milam, to include in the Tattoo Regulations that the
establishment will make and keep a copy of the customer’s ID on file along with the tattoo
application for 2 years.
Amendment #1
MOTION BY ALLAIS, second by Milam, to change the time period of keeping a copy of the
customer’s ID and tattoo application from 2 years to retaining them for 3 years.

4-D. FDA Standards Volunteer Program
Murrieta offered ServSafe Course on June 24, 2013, 17 people attended. The registration cost
for each attendee was $127. $100. of the registration was reimbursed to the student through the
FDA Grant. All that attended, passed.

5. TRAINING
5-A. Training Updates
i. Emergency Preparedness, Multi Agency Training – June 12, 2013
Murrieta provided details of her training relating to a mock contaminate spill. She stated
that she used her resources to assist with closing restaurants and the decontamination
process prior to inspections and re-openings.
ii. WEHA and WFSC Annual Education Conference – October 8-10, 2013

The next regular meeting is scheduled for October 17, 2013.
