DDA Board of Directors Agenda Friday, November 18, 2022 at 12:00 PM 27400 Southfield Road, Lathrup Village, Michigan 48076 1. Call to Order by Ford at 12:02 pm Present: Bryan Ford, Kelly Garrett (arrived 12:09pm), Charlotte Jones, Bobbi Lovins, Scott McKee, Pam Shermeyer, Dan Sugg Absent: Fred Prime Staff: Susie Stec, Pam Bratschi, Sue Montenegro 2. Approval of Agenda Motion to approve the agenda by McKee, seconded by Sugg. All in favor. 3. Approval of Minutes Motion to approve the 2022 09 16 DDA Board of Directors & 2022 10 17 DDA - City Council Special Joint Meeting minutes by Jones, seconded by Shermeyer. All in favor. 4. Financial Review Bratschi informed the board that she started to move the TIFA funds into the DDA accounts in October, and that the audit report is anticipated in November. Motion to receive & file the September 2022 & October 2022 Financial Reports by Lovins, seconded by Sugg. All in favor. 5. Committee Reports Dorsey provided an update on past & upcoming events. 6. Other Business A. November CED Report: Stec provided an update. B. October Code Enforcement Reports: Stec indicated that the city is seeking to fill the Code Enforcement position; McKenna will be providing those services until someone is hired. 7. Old Business 8. Hubbell, Roth, & Clark Proposal for Design Engineering Services: Stec reviewed the proposal and answered questions. Motion by Sugg to accept the proposal submitted by HRB in the amount of $19,200 for design engineering services related to the installation of the HAWK signal, seconded by Lovins. All in favor. B. 2023 DDA Alley & Approach Recommendation: Stec provided an overview of the discussion with the city’s engineer and Economic Vitality Committee, and presented the 2023 Alley & Approach Recommendation which has an estimated cost of $258,511. Motion by Shermeyer to adopt the 2023 DDA Alley & Approach Recommendation as presented, seconded by Garrett. All in Favor. 9. Public Comment 10.
