COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG July 9, 2015 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Mayor Keith Durham, Council Member Sevier, Council Member Williams and Council Member Moore. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the June 25, 2015 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. Rene Seagraves made a presentation for a Dog Park located at the Dog Pound Facility. The Mayor and Council gave her permission to create the park and asked when it would be ready. The park will be funded by donations. Bobby Alford spoke to the Council concerning tourism in Lawrence County and presented some of his ideas for improving what we already have. April Judkins, Main Street Director, informed the Council the James D. Vaughan Festival will be July 22 through 25; and there will be a grand opening of the museum on July 22nd. With no further business to come before the Board, motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned.
