COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG July 14, 2016 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Council Member Williams, Mayor Keith Durham, Council Member Moore, and Council Member Sevier. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the June 23, 2016 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Sevier second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. City Administrator, Chris Shaffer, introduced Main Street Director April Judkins to speak on the 2015 Main Street Accreditation. Ms. Judkins explained the purpose and objective of Main Street and what it takes to be accredited. LUS Financials for May, 2016 were accepted. ORDINANCE NO. 1177 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1161 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2015-2016 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE. Second and final reading Motion to approve on second reading was made by Council Member Sevier, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. RESOLUTION(S) A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TML RISK MANAGEMENT POOL “SAFETY PARTNERS” LOSS CONTROL MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO IMPLEMENT A DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION PROJECT Motion to approve was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore with a second by Council Member Williams. Meeting adjourned.
