COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG October 13, 2016 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Council Member Sevier, and Council Member Williams. Council Member Moore and Mayor Durham were absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order by Vice Mayor Williams. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the September 22, 2016 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Sevier second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. LUS Financials for August 2016 were noted as accepted. ORDINANCE NO. 1182 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1179 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2016-2017 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE CODES DEPARTMENT. Second and Final Reading. Motion to approve on final reading was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously ORDINANCE NO. 1183 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1179 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2016-2017 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE FIRE DEPARTMENT. Second and Final Reading Motion to approve on final reading was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. ORDINANCE NO. 1184 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NUMBER 789 ENTITLED THE “ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE” First Reading Motion to approve on first reading was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. Council Member Sevier explained the importance of purchasing Performance Series Tickets for Crockett Theater to help raise funds to further implement a variety of entertainment at the Theater. April Judkins announced Aaron Tippin would be at Crockett Theater October 28; the Drug Drop Off at WLX on October 22; and the November 12 Chili Cook Off on the square. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Fox with a second by Council Member Sevier. Meeting adjourned. Meeting adjourned.
