COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG March 9, 2017 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Mayor Keith Durham, Council Member Sevier, and Council Member Williams. Council Member Moore was absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the February 23, 2017 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. City Administrator informed the Council we have two new employees Will Bradley, with DPW and Tia Long with the Lawrenceburg Police Department. LUS Financials for January, 2017 were accepted. ORDINANCE NO. 1198 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1179 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2016-2017 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE. Motion to approve on first reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. ORDINANCE NO. 1199 AN ORDINANCE FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG TO ADOPT A PUBLIC RECORDS POLICY AND RECEND ORDINANCE 1123 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION OF, ACCESS TO, AND DUPLICATION OF PUBLIC RECORDS PURSUANT TO THE TENNESSEE PUBLIC RECORDS ACT; HEREBY ADOPTING THE POLICY AS RECOMMENDED BY MTAS Motion to approve on first reading was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Williams with a second by Council Member Sevier. Meeting adjourned.
