COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG February 23, 2017 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Mayor Keith Durham, Council Member Sevier, and Council Member Williams. Council Member Moore was absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2017 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. City Administrator informed the Council that each had a copy of the letter from the Comptroller’s office on the 2008 GEO Bond. John Shadix addressed the Council on the Garbage Cart Holiday Pickup. He would like the schedule rearranged so the Hood Hills area does not have to wait 10 days for holidays that occur on Monday to have their carts picked up. The Council said they would take his under advisement and study the logistics. A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO REAPPOINT TIM DICKEY AS THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG REPRESENTATIVE ON THE TENNESSEE SOUTHERN RAILROAD AUTHORITY BOARD Motion to approve was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG TO APPROVE THE EMERGENCY PURCHASE OF A FIRE APPARATUS Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG DECLARING OFFICIAL INTEND FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN CAPITAL EXPENDITURES With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Williams with a second by Council Member Fox.
