COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG October 10, 2019 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Council Member Williams, Council Member Sevier and Council Member Moore. Mayor Lay was absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order by Vice Mayor Williams. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the September 26, 2019 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Fox Motion passed unanimously. City offices will be closed October 14 in observance of Columbus Day LUS Financials for August 2019 have been accepted. Legal Issues were presented by City Administrator, Chris Shaffer in absence of City Attorney Betz. ORDINANCE(S) ORDINANCE NO. 1277 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1275 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2019-2020 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR PAYMENT TO JMCM CONSULTING FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES – Second and final reading Motion to approve on final reading was made by Council Member Sevier, with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. RESOLUTION(S) A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE, TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF A SCHWARZE A7 – SC-7 CUBIC YARD REGENERATIVE AIR STREET SWEEPER FROM CMI EQUIPMENT SALES, INC. BY THE LAWRENCEBURG SANITATION DEPARTMENT FOR USE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PUBLIC ENTITY PARTNER PROPERTY CONSERVATION MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM Motion to approve was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned.
