CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG April 9, 2020 The Board of Mayor and Council met in special session. The meeting was held by teleconference. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Mayor Lay, and Council Member Moore; Council Member Robin Williams and Council Member Sevier. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. Attorney Betz presented Ordinance Number 1284 for second reading to the Council. ORDINANCE NUMBER 1284 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 1090 ENTITLED, “PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS” FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE; TO ADOPT THE PROVISIONS OF PUBLIC LAW 116-127 AND DEFINITIONS OF EXCLUDED EMPLOYEES/EMERGENCY RESPONDERS FOR THE FAMILY MEDICAL LEAVE ACT EMERGENCY SICK LEAVE EXPANDS (PUBLIC LAW 116-127) – Second and Final Reading Motion to approve on second and final reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business for special session a motion was made by Council Member Moore to adjourn, with a second by Council Member Williams. Meeting adjourned.
