COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG October 14, 2022 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Williams, Council Member Moore and Mayor Lay were present. Council Member Fox and Council Member Sevier were absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the September 22, 2022 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. LUS Financials for August, 2022 were accepted. ORDINANCE NO. 1348 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1340 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2022-2023 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE GENERAL FUND – Parks Master Plan Study – Collier Engineering First reading Motion to approve on first reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. ORDINANCE NO. 1349 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1340 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2022-2023 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE POLICE DEPARTMENT 1033 PROGRAM AND DRUG FUND – First reading Motion to approve on first reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. RESOLUTION(S) A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ARCHIVESOCIAL; A SOCIAL MEDIA ARCHIVING SERVICE IN ORDER TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE STATE OF TENNESSEE ARCHIVE COMPLIANCE LAW Motion to approve was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. Flu shots will be given on October 20 between 9 and 11:30 am in the parking lot of the Police Department. Pertussis and tetanus will also be available. EMA Director, Shelton Barnett, asked everyone to be cautious as we are still in a drought county wide. Parks and Recreation Director, Pam Hyde, reminded the Council of the show at Crockett Theater tonight. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned.
