Pledge of Allegiance Mayor Still led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. November 13, 2024 - Work Session, Executive Session, Regular Meeting Announcements Mayor Still recognized each Council Member who individually made announcements about events and recognitions throughout the community. He then read from the slides for upcoming City Events. Public Comment To participate in the Public Comment part of the Agenda, you must register with the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting. Presentations will be limited to 2 minutes per person and Council will not respond to the comment. Elizabeth Moore signed up to read a poem. Consent Agenda These are items on which the Mayor and Council are in agreement to approve and are placed on the agenda to be approved in one vote. Lee Thompson, City Attorney read the consent agenda items into record. Resolution to become a member of the Georgia Interlocal Risk Management Agency (GIRMA) and participate in one of GIRMA’s funds. 7. 2025 Event Entertainment Consultant Contract 8. Lawrenceville Wayfinding Signs Project 9. Agreement with Impact46 for FIRST Center operations 10. Amendment to Chapter 22 of the Code of Ordinances 11. Resolution to Support City of Milton 12. Acquisition of GDOT Surplus Properties Public Hearing New Business Discussion will be limited to 7 minutes per side including rebuttal. LCI Honest Alley Activation Study Final Presentation Helen Balch, Deputy Director of Planning and Development introduced Kevin Bacon, Director of Urban Design; Toole Design, as both presented this item and presentation and answered questions from Council. Approval of Supplemental Authorizing Resolution and Bond Bid Results Keith Lee, Chief Financial Officer introduced Doug Gebhardt, First Vice President with Davenport where Mr Gebhardt presented a presentation and answered questions from Council. Ken Pollock with the DDA spoke and answered questions.  Motion to Approve Supplemental Authorizing Resolution and Bond Bid Results as presented made by Mayor Still, Seconded by Council Member Jones. Motion to appoint Council Member Victoria Jones as Mayor Pro-Tem for 2025 made by Mayor Still, Seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Taylor Crawford. Approval of Board Appointments for 2025 Mayor Still presented this item and answered questions from Council.
