CITY COUNCIL RETREAT MINUTES Friday, December 11, 2020 GwMA Large Conference Room - 3rd Floor 7:45 AM 70 S. Clayton St, GA 30046 Agenda: 1. Coffee 2. Financial Update/Planned Mid-Year Adjustments Finance Director Keith Lee provided an overview of the City’s current financial position as of end of November. He also outlined the release of contingency items since the City is trending in a positive financial situation. He ended his presentation with a discussion on the 5 year financial model reminding Council that additional revenue is anticipated beginning in fiscal year 2023. A general discussion of the financial position of the City was led by Mayor Still. 3. Discussion on Trash/Recycling Assistant City Manager/Public Works Director, Barry Mock provided an overview of our trash and recycling program, trending costs, and possible opportunity to changes with operations, expenses, and revenue. A general discussion of the City’s trash and recycling program was led by Mayor Still. Council asked for more information on recycling and trash operations, costs, and revenue projections. 4.
