Meeting was called to order at 6:03 p.m.
Agenda:
No public comments.
New Volunteer Coordinator, Lynette, was introduced.
Shelter Statistics/ Managers report
For 2020:
Live release rate is 95%.
268 active volunteers worked an average of 47.01 hours each.
561 active fosters; 1,759 pets in foster care
Science Diet shelter program began in December 2020 allowing the shelter to order pet food at a
discounted rate.
Reviewed current pet license ordinance and discussed changes to include the use of microchips for
registrations.
Discussion was held on the re-branding of shelter on social media.
Calendar of upcoming events was reviewed.
Best Friends Animal Society webinar: “Traditional to Innovative: The Future for Cat Intake at Shelters”
was discussed.
Next meeting was set for Wednesday, May 5, 2021
Meeting adjourned at 7:29 p.m.
