Meeting was called to order at 6:16 p.m.

Public Comments
Monica Millican addressed the committee to request a more detailed meeting agenda be posted
prior to each meeting.
Shelter Statistics/Managers report
• August 2022 statistics were reviewed –
Live release rate is 97%
Total intake: 248
Total outcome: 141
Councilman Larry Millican requested that the report shows the population in the shelter in its simplest
form. Jasmine will include the month ending shelter capacity in her statistics going forward.
Jasmine provided a handout on Strategic Intake Pilot Program – discussion was held.
AMPA/Maddie’s Fund Shelter Assessment
Assessment concentrated on protocols and procedures. The assessment will be dispersed after Jasmine
has completed the review.
Discussion was held on voucher program for heartworm treatments. Dr. Robinson is willing to provide
treatments.
Discussion was held on accepting donations to meet staffing needs.
Next meeting will be Monday, November 14, 2022, at 6:15 p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 7:41 p.m.
