MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE November 18, 2019 The meeting of the Finance Committee was called to order by Gabe Allen November 18, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center, 400 West Walker St., League City, Texas. Present at the meeting were Nick Long, John VanDever, Jr., Paul Maaz, Traci Jacobs, Steve Burzinski, Chuck Howard, Zak Kone, Gabe Allen, Michelle Villarreal, Quencelia Goins, Teresa McKenzie, Jeremy Reynolds, Rhonda Lee, Ann Williams, and Kristine Polian by phone. Approval of minutes from the August 19, 2019 Meeting Paul Maaz made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes and to approve the minutes as presented. Nick Long seconded the motion. The motion passed, all-in-favor. Citizen Comments There were no citizen comments. Review of Financial Advisor Services & Purchasing Process Kristine Polian reviewed the Financial Advisor Services & Purchasing Process via phone. After her presentation, a lengthy discussion ensued. Consider and Take Action to Excuse Absences There were no absences to consider. Staff Comments No staff comments. Committee Member Comments Paul Maaz commented on the newspaper article referencing the Library Proposal, “How can you build anything inexpensively anymore?” Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 5:04 p.m., all-in-favor. ________________________________________ Chairperson
