1. Call to Order and Roll Call of Members
Paul Maaz, Vice Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Present: Steven Barron, Gene Bindhammer, Frank Dominguez, Paul Maaz, Tedd
Olkowski,
Absent: Pam Arnold, Ruth Morrison
City Staff: David Hoover, Executive Director of Development Services; Kris Carpenter,
Planning Manager; Mark Linenschmidt, Senior Planner; Masood Malik, Senior Planner;
Christopher Sims, City Engineer; Matt Brown, Assistant City Engineer; Michelle Villareal,
Deputy City Attorney
2. Approval of September 19, 2022, minutes
Mr. Maaz asked if there were any corrections. He stated hearing none, the September 19,
2022, minutes are approved.
3. Citizen Communications
None.
4. Public Hearing and Action Items
A. Hold a public hearing and take action on a Replat, Lakeside Addition Lot 24R, Block 7
(PLAT-22-0045), generally located in the 300 block of Valmar Street.
Kris Carpenter, Planning Manager gave a presentation on behalf of the City of League City.
Mr. Maaz opened the public hearing at 6:01 p.m.
The following persons signed-in to speak during the public hearing: None.
Mr. Maaz closed the public hearing at 6:02 p.m.
Mr. Bindhammer made a motion to approve the Replat, Lakeside Addition Lot 24R Block 7
(PLAT-22-0045), per staff’s recommendations.
Mr. Olkowski seconded the motion.
The motion passed by a vote of 5-0-0.
5. New Business
A. Consider and take action on a Preliminary Plat, Landing Boulevard and Samara Way, Phase
1 (PLAT-22-0002), generally located north of Ervin Street and west of Hobbs Road.
Kris Carpenter, Planning Manager gave a presentation on behalf of the City of League City.
Mr. Olkowski made a motion to approve the Preliminary Plat, Landing Boulevard and Samara
Way, Phase 1 (PLAT-22-0002), per staff’s recommendations.
Mr. Bindhammer seconded the motion.
The motion passed by a vote of 5-0-0.
B. Consider and take action on Preliminary Plats, Samara, Sections 6, 7 and 8 (PLAT-22-
0004, PLAT-22-0005 and PLAT-22-0006), generally located north of Ervin Street and east
and west of Landing Boulevard.
Kris Carpenter, Planning Manager gave a presentation on behalf of the City of League City.
Mr. Olkowski made a motion to approve the Preliminary Plats, Samara, Sections 6, 7 and 8
(PLAT-22-0004, PLAT-22-0005 and PLAT-22-0006), per staff’s recommendations,
Mr. Bindhammer seconded the motion.
The motion passed by a vote of 5-0-0.

7. Adjournment
Mr. Maaz adjourned the meeting at 6:05 p.m.
