1. Call to Order and Roll Call of Members
Paul Maaz, Vice Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Present: Steven Barron, Frank Dominguez, Paul Maaz, Tedd Olkowski,
Absent: Pam Arnold, Gene Bindhammer, Ruth Morrison
City Staff: Kris Carpenter, Assistant Director of Planning; Mark Linenschmidt, Senior
Planner; Masood Malik, Senior Planner; Kayla Leal, Planner II; Christopher Sims, City
Engineer; Paige Bailey, Assistant City Attorney
2. Approval of December 5, 2022, minutes
Mr. Maaz asked if there were any corrections. He stated hearing none, the December 19,
2022, minutes are approved.
3. Citizen Communications
No citizens spoke.
4. Public Hearing and Action Items
A. Hold a public hearing and take action on Replat No. 1, Momin at Tuscan Lakes (PLAT-22-
0044), generally located on the northeast corner of East League City Parkway (SH 96) and
Egret Bay Boulevard (FM 270).
Kris Carpenter, Assistant Director of Planning, gave a presentation on behalf of the City of
League City.
Mr. Maaz opened the public hearing at 6:02 p.m.
No one spoke at the public hearing.
Mr. Maaz closed the public hearing at 6:03 p.m.
Mr. Olkowski made a motion to approve the Replat No. 1, Momin at Tuscan Lakes (PLAT-22-
0044), per staff’s recommendations.
Mr. Barron seconded the motion.
The motion passed by a vote of 4-0-0.
5. New Business
A. Consider and take action on a Preliminary/Final Plat, Texas DPS Addition, (PLAT-22-0056),
generally located on the southeast corner of Abilene Street and Egret Bay Boulevard (FM
270).
Kris Carpenter, Assistant Director of Planning, gave a presentation on behalf of the City of
League City.
Mr. Barron made a motion to approve the Preliminary Plat, League City Parkway Street
Dedication (PLAT-21-0048), per staff’s recommendations.
Mr. Olkowski seconded the motion.
The motion passed by a vote of 4-0-0.
6. Staff Comments
Kris Carpenter wished everyone in attendance Happy Holidays and New Year.
7. Adjournment
Mr. Maaz adjourned the meeting at 6:06 p.m.
