The City of Lee's Summit Action Letter Finance and Budget Committee Monday, August 8, 2022 4:00 PM City Council Chambers and Via Video Conference 220 SE Green Street Lee's Summit, MO 64063 Notice is hereby given that the Finance and Budget Committee for the City of Lee’s Summit will meet in Special Session on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 4:00 pm in person and via video conference as provided by Section 2-50 of the City of Lee’s Summit Code of Ordinances, adopted by the City Council on June 15, 2021, Ordinance No. 9172. Persons wishing to comment on any item of business on the agenda via video conference may do so by sending a request prior to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022, to the City Clerk at clerk@cityofls.net to attend the meeting on the video conferencing platform. The City Clerk will provide instructions regarding how to attend by this method. The meeting may be viewed on the City’s website at WatchLS.net, and on various cable providers (Spectrum Channel 2, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 and Comcast Channel 7). 1. Approval of Agenda A motion was made by Councilmember Shields, seconded by Vice Chair Lopez, to approve the agenda as published. Business A. 2022-5091 Approval of the August 1, 2022 Finance and Budget Committee Action Letter. A motion was made by Councilmember Shields, seconded by Councilmember Hodges, to approve the Action Letter dated August 1, 2022. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Councilmember DeMoro Vice Chair Lopez Councilmember Hodges Councilmember Shields B. 2022-5090 Presentation: Updated projected costs of Fire Stations No. 4 and No. 5 This Presentation was received and filed. C. BILL NO. An Ordinance approving Amendment No. 1 to the Budget for the Fiscal Year 22-166 ending June 30, 2023, as adopted by Ordinance No. 9441, Ordinance No. 9442, Ordinance No. 9449, Ordinance No. 9450, and Ordinance No. 9451, by amending the authorized expenditures for the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. (F&BC 8/8/22) A motion was made by Councilmember Shields, seconded by Councilmember Hodges, that TMP-2374 be recommended for approval to the City Council. Roundtable Mr. Steve Arbo, City Manager, informed the committee the construction agreement for Fire Stations No. 4 and 5 will be brought straight to City Council and is currently scheduled for the August 16, 2022 City Council meeting. 7.
