Meeting was called to order by Chairman Alan Paystrup at 6:44 PM. Those in attendance: Planning Commission Chairman: Alan Paystrup Commissioners: Chris Chipping and Barbara Anderson Planning Commission Secretary: Heather Poulsen Town Council Members: Bruce Rowley Juab County Planning Commission Secretary: Tracy Painter (and husband Paul Painter) Juab County Planning Commissioner: Mike Kramer Juab County Commissioners: Richard Hanson and Marv Kenison Levan Fire Chief: Garrick Hall The purpose of the Public Meeting was to take comment from affected entities: Regarding the proposed annexation policy plan for Levan Town Questions were brought up by Juab County Commissioners about if impact fees, and islands were addressed in the plan. The Town commissioners showed them where they are addressed in the policy. Juab County Commissioner Richard Hansen wondered what the town would do if an industrial company came outside of town but we didn’t want to annex them in would we be willing to supply them utilities? The Commissioners said they wouldn’t supply water. The other utilities would have to be worked out but it would be a case-by-case situation. Juab County Planning Commission Secretary informed everyone that if Levan Town denies someone an annexation petition and the person then comes to the county for a building permit, for a single-family home, if they are in the growth phase then they would only be required to have 2 acres to build. The old first phase wase one city black or 528ft. The new map looks bigger so she wondered if the Planning Commission really wanted to change it. The Planning Commissioners didn’t request anything to be changed.
