MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
September 7, 2021
7:00 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Alan Paystrup at 7:00 PM.
Those in attendance:

Commissioner: Barbara Anderson
Planning Commission Secretary: Heather Poulsen
Town Clerk: Elizabeth Hone
The purpose of the Public Hearing was to take public comment:
Regarding the proposed annexation policy plan for Levan Town
There was no public in attendance at this public hearing.
Secretary Heather Poulsen informed the commissioners that town resident
Russel Mangelson was not able to attend the meeting but asked her to bring
up a concern he had. The current plan stated that annexing would require 1.5-
acre ft. of water per .5 acre annexed. He wondered about the area that would
be taken out for roads and such. The commissioners felt like the policy should
state 1.5-acre ft of water per .5-acre lot or potential .5-acre lot annexed.
Heather also pointed out on page 7, line vii, was taken out due to the fact that
it was requiring a noticing fee and the state no longer requires annexations to
be posted in newspapers so there was no need to charge that fee.
Adjourn: Chairman Alan Paystrup closed the Public Hearing at 7:15 P.M.

Juab County, State of Utah, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, the 7th day
of September 2021, at its regular meeting place, the Levan Town Hall, 20
North Main, Levan, Utah, at 7:00 P.M.
The agenda shall be as follows: The order of business may change as time
permits.
A. The purpose of this public hearing will be to receive comments
regarding the proposed annexation policy plan for Levan Town.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Levan Town will make reasonable accommodations for
