Minutes of the Levan Town Master Transportation Plan Public Hearing October 4, 2023 6:30pm The Levan Town Public Hearing was held on October 4, 2023, at the Levan Town Hall, 20 N Main, Levan UT 84639. The meeting started at 6:30pm. Welcome: Alan Paystrup In Attendance: Mayor Bruce. Rowley Planning Commissioners: Alan Paystrup, Barbara Anderson, Christine Carrigan Meeting Recorder: Christine Carrigan Others in Attendance: Tyler Faddis (Engineer), Carol Bennett 1. Alan Paystrup opened the public hearing for the Levan Town Transportation Master Plan (MTP). He stated that the purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens with information regarding the Plan. He invited Tyler Faddis of Jones and DeMille Engineering to explain what the Plan contained. Mr. Faddis discussed the specifics of the MTP. What it covered and how the information was gathered. He explained items such as the identification of major collector roads and how that information can be used to receive funding from the Utah Department of Transportation. He added that the Plan is necessary for CIB funding. The Plan also covers future road construction requirements for improvements and growth. There were no public comments or questions. Adjournment of Public Hearing: Motion to Adjourn: Christine Carrigan 2nd: Barbara Anderson All were in favor. The motion was Approved. The agenda shall be as follows: The order of business may change as time permits. 1. The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comment regarding the Levan Town Transporta�on Master Plan. A copy will be available for public review in the town oﬃce. All members of the public are invited to atend and par�cipate. In accordance with the Americans with Disabili�es Act Levan Town will make reasonable accommoda�ons for par�cipa�on in the mee�ng.
