1. Opening Business:
Welcome by Alan Paystrup
Invocation: Alan Paystrup
Pledge: Christine Carrigan
Present at Meeting: Alan Paystrup, Planning Commission Chairman,
Planning Commissioners: Barbara Anderson and Christine Carrigan.
Meeting Recorder: Christine Carrigan, Chantal Rowley
Also Present: Mayor Bruce Rowley, Councilwoman Rachel Goates,
Carol Bennett
2. Action Items:
a. Approve minutes for the October 4th, 2023, Public Hearing.
Motion to approve made by Barbara Anderson, motion seconded by Christine Carrigan.
All in favor. Minutes approved.
b. Approve minutes for the October 4th, 2023, Regular Planning meeting.
Motion to approve made by Barbara Anderson, motion seconded by Christine Carrigan.
All in favor. Minutes approved.
c. Permit Applications:
New Home- N. Mangelson
The commissioners reviewed Mr. Mangelson’s application.
Motion to approve the Mangelson Home Building Permit made by Barbara Anderson.
Seconded by Christine Carrigan. All in favor. Permit Approved.
3. Reports:
Office Issued Permits: None
4. Discussion Items:
a. Open discussion items:
Alan Paystrup said he would likely be out-of-town for the January meeting.
Levan resident Carol Bennett said she appreciated the prompt mud clean-up by the construction crew
working near her house.
Christine Carrigan shared the information that the State of Utah has changed the laws regarding Subdivision
Ordinances. The town will need to rewrite its ordinances to be compliant. The Town of Levan has qualified
for a grant of up to $14,000.00 to cover the fees needed to have the ordinances updated.
5. Adjourn: Motion to Adjourn made by Christine Carrigan. Seconded by Barbara Anderson. All in favor
