LIBERTY HILL PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AGENDA Regular Meeting & Public Hearing TUESDAY – NOVEMBER 10, 2015 – 6:30 PM Council Chambers - 2801 Ranch Road 1869 – Liberty Hill, Texas CLYDE DAVIS – Chair WES GRIFFIN – Vice Chair CHERYL NEW – Commissioner CHRIS PEZOLD – Commissioner DAVE WIDMER - Commissioner Notice is hereby given that a REGULAR MEETING of the Liberty Hill PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION will be held TUESDAY – NOVEMBER 10, 2015 at 6:30 PM in Council Chambers located at 2801 Ranch Road 1869 in Liberty Hill, Texas to consider other items as follows. All items are subject to action. 1) CALL TO ORDER a) Establish Quorum b) Invocation c) Pledge of Allegiance d) Texas Pledge: "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible." 2) PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Liberty Hill will conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request for zoning map change for property located in the City of Liberty Hill, better described as 87.1 Acres of land situated in the John B. Robinson Survey - Abstract No. 531 and the Noah Smithwick Survey – Abstract No. 390 in Williamson County, Texas being a portion of Lots 1 through 4 and all of Lot 5, SWS LP Subdivision as recorded in Cabinet GG – Slide 7 in the Plat Records of Williamson Couny, Texas (P.R.W.C.TZ). Said property is located at the southeast corner of Highway 183 and CR 259, effectively zoned (AG) Agricultural open annexation. Applicant is proposing a zoning change to (SF-3) Single-Family High Density and (C-1) Neighborhood Commercial / Retail – Reference: Zoning Case File #15-Z-003. All persons with interest in this request are invited to attend and present their comments to the Planning & Zoning Commission at this meeting for consideration. 3) PUBLIC COMMENTS Liberty Hill Planning & Zoning Commission accepts public comments regarding the Agenda of regular meetings and Public Hearings. Individuals wishing to speak may sign in by completing a Public Comment Form and presenting the form to the City Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. Each citizen will be allowed a maximum of three (3) minutes. Public Comment period will last no longer than a total of fifteen (15) minutes. a) Public Comments 4) REGULAR AGENDA a) Discuss and Consider approval of minutes from the Planning & Zoning Commission meeting held Tuesday – October 27, 2015. b) Discuss and Consider Action on a recommendation to the City Council of Liberty Hill regarding zoning change for approximately 75.60 acres from Agriculture (AG) to Single Family High Density (SF-3) and zoning change of approximately 7.83 acres from Agriculture (AG) to Neighborhood Commercial / Retail (C-1).
