CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION THURSDAY, MARCH 14, 2024 HELD IN-PERSON PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Led by Commissioner Mann and Civil Service Commission. CALL TO ORDER: Commissioner Mann called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: Civil Service Commission members who phvsicallv attended the meetinq: Commissioners Mann, Hatcher and Webster. Citv staff who phvsicallv attended the meetinq: Kelsey Hardy, City Clerk OLD BUSINESS: No items at this time GENERAL BUSINESS: A. Approve the February 8, 2024, meeting minutes. Commissioner Hatcher moved to approve the February 8, 2024 minutes, seconded by Commissioner Webster. This motion carried unanimously. B. lnterview potential attorney, Michelle Fossum: The commissioners took turns asking Michelle Fossum a series of interview questions. Commissioners then allowed Michelle Fossum an opportunity to ask questions. Deliberations amongst commissioners ensued. Commissioner Hatcher moved to extend an offer to Michelle as the attorney for the Civil Service Commission. Commissioner Webster seconded. The motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENTS: No comments at this time.
