VILLAGE OF LIBERTYVILLE SPECIAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING Tuesday, May 06, 2025 at 7:00 PM 118 W. Cook Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048 MINUTES Roll Call Mayor Johnson called to order a meeting of the Board of Trustees at 7:00 p.m. Those present were Mayor Donna Johnson, Village Trustees Scott Adams, Pete Garrity, Matthew Hickey, Matt Krummick, Casey Rooney. Also in attendance were Clerk Margaret Clark and Village Attorney Hart Passman. Mayor's Update Proclamation Honoring Outgoing Village Board Member a. Village Trustee Matthew Hickey Mayor Johnson presented a proclamation for the outgoing Trustee, Matthew Hickey. Trustee Hickey served from 2021-2025. Trustee Hickey quoted James Buchanan who said he favors the noise of democracy. Mr. Hickey said he also favors the harmony of democracy. Wished the board the best in the next four years. Recess Mayor Johnson initiated a recess to transition from the old Board business into the new Board. Installation of Newly Elected Officials a. Village Clerk Margaret Clark (by the Honorable Donna Johnson, Village President) Adjournment A brief reception was held after the meeting to honor all outgoing and incoming members. With no further business to come before the Board, Village Trustee Adams moved to adjourn at 7:23 pm, Seconded by Village Trustee Krummick. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote.
