VILLAGE OF LISBON Village Board Minutes October 17, 2024 DRAFT SPECIAL MEETING A Special Meeting of the Village of Lisbon Board of Trustees was held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in the Lisbon Village Hall Board Room, W234N8676 Woodside Road, Lisbon, WI. President Osterman called the regular Village Board meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. Roll Call Present: President Joseph Osterman; Trustees Paula Quinn, and Rebecca Plotecher; and Clerk Elisa Cappozzo Katch. Trustees Marc Moonen and Linda Beal were absent and excused. Citizen Comment Ellie Owen, PO Box 254 Nashotah, spoke to the Bard regarding her concerns on the Arrowhead referendum that would be on the November ballot. Closed Session (6:45p.m.) President Osterman read the notice of Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(c) for the purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, more specifically to review candidate applications and/or resumes to determine which candidates to move forward in the hiring process for the Administrator position. Motion by Quinn, second by Plotecher, to adjourn into Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Stats. §19.85(1)(c) to review candidate applications and/or resumes to determine which candidates to move forward in the hiring process for the Administrator position. A roll call vote was taken, and the motion carried unanimously. Open Session (7:50p.m.) Motion by Plotecher, second by Quinn, to adjourn into Open Session pursuant to Wis. Stats. §19.85(2) for possible action on the Closed Session discussion, and to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously. No action was taken as a result of the Closed Session. Adjournment Motion by Plotecher, second by Moonen, to adjourn the meeting at 7:53p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
