Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes August 11, 2009 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Dick Schevers Scott Schommer Kerry Ruhnke Richard Meacham Guests: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD President Chuck Rundquist called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. Roll call was taken and all members were present. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Kerry Ruhnke, seconded by Dick Schevers, to approve the minutes of the July 7, 2009 meeting of the Commission. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Action Items A motion was made at 6:04 p.m. to go into closed session under Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(c). The motion was made by Schevers and seconded by Ruhnke. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. A motion was made to reconvene in open session at 6:52 p.m. The motion was made by Scott Schommer, seconded by Ruhnke. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. Chief Misselt’s Report Chief Misselt spoke about his one-on-one meetings with the department’s personnel, meetings with a few of the villages’ citizens, as well as going over department policies that are of immediate concern. Commission President Communications None The next police commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 6 p.m. in the Village Board Room of the Little Chute Village Hall, 108 West Main Street, Little Chute, Wisconsin.  FVMPD Police Commission Meeting – August 11, 2009 Adjournment A motion to adjourn at 7:15 p.m. was made by Ruhnke, seconded by Schevers.
