Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes September 7, 2010 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Dick Schevers Kerry Ruhnke Scott Schommer Richard Meacham Guest: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD President Chuck Rundquist called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken and all members of the commission were present. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Kerry Ruhnke, seconded by Scott Schommer, to approve the minutes of the May 11, 2010 meeting of the Commission. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Chief’s Report Chief Misselt presented the six-month evaluation process. He also advised of the command staff retreat in August and the outcome of its discussions in hopes to better align the department for the future regarding budget, staffing, and the communities’ needs. Commission President Communications Nothing at this time. The next police commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 6 p.m. in the Village Board Room of the Little Chute Village Hall, 108 West Main Street, Little Chute, Wisconsin.
