Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes May 11, 2010 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Dick Schevers Kerry Ruhnke Scott Schommer Richard Meacham Guest: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD President Chuck Rundquist called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken and all members of the commission were present. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Kerry Ruhnke, seconded by Dick Schevers, to approve the minutes of the February 23, 2010 meeting of the Commission. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Chief’s Report Chief Misselt presented the updated organizational chart and advised of the procedure used for filling the position for community support officer. The statewide smoking ban was also discussed in depth as well as how it will affect village ordinances. Commission President Communications President Rundquist reminded the commission members of the police department’s open house on May 12, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The next police commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 6 p.m. in the Village Board Room of the Little Chute Village Hall, 108 West Main Street, Little Chute, Wisconsin.
