Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes February 8, 2011 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Dick Schevers Scott Schommer Kerry Ruhnke Excused: Richard Meacham Guest: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD President Chuck Rundquist called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. Roll call was taken and one member of the commission was excused: Richard Meacham. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Kerry Ruhnke, seconded by Scott Schommer, to approve the minutes of the January 4, 2011 meeting of the Commission. Approved by voice vote, 4-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Chief’s Report Chief Misselt reported on personnel issues, including the conditional offer to hire Aaron Wanserski as a patrol officer. He also gave details regarding the consolidation vote with the Combined Locks Police Department, which will occur in the month of March. A contract with the MEG Unit was signed which provides more available resources for the department. Chief Misselt advised the Commission the 2010 Annual Report for the FVMPD is being worked on. Commission President Communications Nothing at this time. The next police commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 6 p.m. in the Village Board Room of the Little Chute Village Hall, 108 West Main Street, Little Chute, Wisconsin.
