Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes February 21, 2012 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Mark Van Thiel, Vice President Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Scott Schommer Laurie Verhagen Kerry Ruhnke Guest: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD President Chuck Rundquist called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken and all commission members were present. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Scott Schommer, seconded by Kerry Ruhnke, to approve the minutes of the November 8, 2011 meeting of the Commission. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Review of Department Rules and Regulations Chief Misselt went over with the commission the updated Department Rules and Regulations. Mark Van Thiel made a motion to approve the updated version, seconded by Ruhnke. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. Action Items A motion was made at 6:12 p.m. to go into closed session under Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(c). The motion was made by Schommer and seconded by Ruhnke. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. A motion was made to reconvene in open session at 9:20 p.m. The motion was made by Ruhnke, seconded by Laurie Verhagen. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. The next police commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 6 p.m. in the Village Board Room of the Little Chute Village Hall, 108 West Main Street, Little Chute, Wisconsin.
