Minutes of Fire Commission Meeting February 13, 2012 Present: Carl Peeters, Dick Schevers, Bill Verhagen, Scott Schommer, Pat Nikolay Meeting called to order at 5:45 pm. Secretary’s Report: Minutes reviewed and accepted as written. Old Business: Grants Grant for new ladders was denied. Grant for radios through Outagamie County approved; our portion would be approximately $37,000. We are still waiting to hear if the grant we wrote for radios, which would be a greater amount, will be approved. If it is approved, we will use that grant, if not, we will use the money from the Outagamie County grant. No new hires or retirements at this time. New Business: Dick Schevers’ and Bill Verhagen’s terms are up this year. They both indicated that they would like to be reappointed. Meeting adjourned at 5:55 pm. Next meeting: Monday, May 14, 2012.
