Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes August 20, 2013 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Laurie Verhagen Kerry Ruhnke Scott Schommer Excused: Mark Van Thiel Guest: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD The meeting was called to order at 6:03 p.m. Roll call was taken. One member of the commission was excused: Mark Van Thiel. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Scott Schommer, seconded by Kerry Ruhnke, to approve the minutes of the May 14, 2013 meeting of the Commission. Approved by voice vote, 4-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Action Items A motion was made at 6:09 p.m. to go into closed session under Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(c). The motion was made by Ruhnke and seconded by Laurie Verhagen. Approved by voice vote, 4-0. A motion was made to reconvene in open session at 8:55 p.m. The motion was made by Ruhnke, seconded by Schommer. Approved by voice vote, 4-0. Chief’s Report None. Commission President Communications None. The next police commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2013. The meeting site is to be determined.
