Police Commission Meeting Minutes
March 12, 2019

The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm and roll call was taken.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Scott Schommer to approve the minutes from the November 20, 2018
meeting. Jason Weber seconded the motion. The motion carried, 3-0.
Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission
None
Closed Session
A motion was made by Jason Nate to pass on the closed session. Scott Schommer seconded the
motion. The motion carried, 3–0.
Commission President Communications
None
Chief’s Report
This year, in lieu of the department’s open house, FVMPD will be participating in National Night
Out, scheduled the first Tuesday in August. This year the event will take place in Kimberly and
next year it will be in Little Chute. The Kimberly location is to be determined. Chief Meister
advised that the department is currently fully staffed and Officer Uebelher has transitioned into his
role as Investigator. RFPs had been sent out to for fleet fueling and after receiving the proposals,
fueling will continue to be with Kwik Trip. Two decommissioned squads have been sold through
auction; a third will be sold soon. Staff has been/will be attending legal updates and the Chief and
Captain went to the WCPA Conference this year. Chief Meister reported that calls for service have
increased 20% despite the demerger with Combined Locks.
The next Police Commission Meeting will be at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in the
Aspen/Birch room at the Village of Kimberly Municipal Complex

A motion to adjourn was made by Jason Nate at 6:18pm. Jason Weber seconded the motion. The
motion carried, 3-0.
