MINUTES OF THE UTILITY COMMISSION MEETING – FEBRUARY 20, 2018 Call to Order The Utility Commission meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by Kevin Coffey, Chair Roll Call PRESENT: Kevin Coffey, Chair Mark Gloudemans Tim Bevers EXCUSED: Jessica Schultz Michael Vanden Berg Tim Wegand ALSO PRESENT: Village Administrator James Fenlon, Finance Director Teri Matheny, Jerry Verstegen, MCO Public Appearance for Items Not on the Agenda None Approval of Minutes Approval of Minutes of January 16, 2018 Moved by M. Gloudemans, seconded by T. Bevers to Approve the Minutes of January 16, 2018 All Ayes – Motion Carried Discussion/Recommendation—Lead Water Services Ordinance Administrator Fenlon went over staff recommendation for additional changes to the draft ordinance that was reviewed last month by the Utility Commission and is recommending approval to present Ordinance to the Village Board. Moved by K. Coffey, seconded by M. Gloudemans to recommend to the Village Board to Adopt the Lead Services Ordinance as presented All Ayes – Motion Carried Progress Reports MCO Operations Update J. Verstegen, MCO presented documents updating current, past and ongoing Water Department projects. Director of Public Works Administrator Fenlon presented documents on Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, Storm Ponds and Engineering Installation and Design Notes information. Finance Director Director Matheny advised Finance is working on Utility Billing to be Audit Ready by April 1, 2018. Utilities are in good shape and continue to grow. Approval of Vouchers Moved by T. Bevers, seconded by M. Gloudemans to Approve and Authorize payment of the vouchers and draw from the respective funds All Ayes – Motion Carried Unfinished Business None Items for Future Agenda None Adjournment Moved by K.
