MEETING DATE: September 3, 2024 PREPARED BY: Scott R. Carney, City Manager RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept Ceremonial Check to Acknowledge the Contribution of Congressional Community Project Funds to the Lodi Commons Senior Affordable Housing Project. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin (HACSJ) received Congressional Community Project Funds for the Lodi Commons Senior Affordable Housing Project at Salas Park. The project will consist of 110 units of affordable apartments for seniors. Congressional representatives will present a ceremonial check to the HACSJ Commissioners and the Lodi City Council to acknowledge the federal contribution to the project. STRATEGIC VISION: 8B. Public Well-Being: Partner with other entities to provide outreach, education and activities to engage diverse cultures and communities. FISCAL IMPACT: Not applicable.
